About Jewel Racing

Jewel Racing is a thoroughbred racehorse syndication company based at Flemington Racecourse.

We offer 5% shares in quality bloodstock handpicked by the trainer from Australasia’s leading yearling sales.

Bloodstock is offered at its purchase price, setting itself apart from other syndication companies who add a substantial offerors margin. 

The application fee includes your share of the purchase price, and all costs associated with your share of the horse for the first six months (from the date the horse was purchased). This includes insurance, sales and veterinary expenses, incentive schemes and race series nominations (ie VOBIS, Magic Millions, Inglis), breaking-in and pre-training, spelling and agistment, and transport. 

Thereafter, the set monthly fee of $249.00 will be debited from your credit card. This includes maintaining, training, and racing the horse as well as routine veterinary treatments, and local travel, spelling and agistment costs. Excluded is race entry fees for group races and interstate travel (note: the horse would have earnt prize money to justify this, so technically the horse is paying for this).

It is our priority to ensure that you have a positive and inclusive racehorse ownership experience. We will provide regular communications including horse updates and host stable visits, racedays and other events throughout the year. 

As an owner you are entitled to a Racing Victoria Owners Gold Card, racecourse entry tickets, your name in the race book and entry to the mounting yard (access to your horse, jockey and trainer) and owners room when your horse races.

Should your horse need to be retired from the industry, Jewel Racing will provide a complimentary retraining and/or rehoming service at no expense to the owners. Your monthly payments will terminate at that stage.
